The Garmin 1350LMT is one of Garmins best selling GPS systems. The 4.3 inch widescreen portable GPS navigator adds Lifetime Maps and Traffic free for life.
Also, this thin GPS announces streets by name, guides you to the proper lane for navigation, offers pedestrian navigation and calculates a more fuel-efficient route with ecoRoute.
Who Wants To Sit At A Stand Still
As communities grow new roads are added and changed. Seems like we’re forever sitting in some construction zone waiting for the flagger to wave us on. Sometimes your aware of the construction zones and sometimes there is a big surprise. I don’t like these kind of surprises. It is very annoying to sit or crawl in traffic. I would rather go around it, even if it takes me a little longer at least I’m moving. Traffic updates will minimize these surprises. It will warn you of upcoming congestion whether it’s a constuction zone or accident. Keep your Garmin current by updating the maps 4 times a year free. Then you will be aware of all the new road changes made.
Wide Screen Easy to Understand at a Glance
The wide screen display makes it easy to read. Who wants to have to take a double look at their GPS to try to figure out what’s on the display. To see it better you could try to get it closer to you, but in your car or truck you are somewhat limited. The wider screen makes it easier to see. The colors really make all the streets and roads stand out. And the backlite ( the light from behind the screen) helps so you can see the display at different angles.

Get The Signal Or Get Lost
When you get in your car or truck and you want to get going in the right direction right away. When your in a strange area this becomes more important. You want it to pick up the signal from the satellite right away, not drive 3 blocks and find out your headed the wrong way. The Garmin 1350LMT is one of the fastest in the industry to catch a signal so you can be on your way fast.
It Talks To You…..Respectfully
Most of us are good safe drivers, but have you ever been driving with something on your mind that kind of distracts you from the road, then realize you should have turned at the last intersection. No big deal if your not in a hurry, but what if time was of the essence? You might be late for a important meeting or to pick up your kids. With this GPS it will warn you in most any language you chose of upcoming turns well in advance and again when you get closer. This will snap you out of the daydream you were in (not that any of us daydream while driving) and get you to your destination on time.
Where Do You Want To Go For Lunch?
There are nearly six million points of interest in this Garmin. If you need to find a pharmacy fast, this will get you there. I do a lot of driving during the day and many of the time in unfamiliar areas. I don’t want to spend needless time driving around looking for a place to eat lunch. It saves time to have a list of restaurants appear ( by type if I want) on my screen with how close they are to me.
“Did you know that the Garmin 1350LMT comes with a cool plugin that allows you to download directions directly from Google maps to your Garmin. This saves me time since I no longer have to type in the addresses directly into my Garmin.”
Navigate Through The Spagetti Bowl
Another nice feature is lane assist. This will show you clearly what lane to be in so you won’t miss your turn off. It makes driving on the expressway safer. It will show and tell you ahead of time to move to the correct lane. This makes driving safer for all of us because it avoids confusion and last second lane changes.
Save Your Feet….Bring A Garmin
The Garmin 1350LMT has a pedestrian mode. I find this feature to be very handy while on vacation. One thing my wife loves to do is shop. We usually walk around the shopping district endlessly from store to store and then back track to a store we were already at. To make things a little better, you can set your Garmin to pedestrian mode and search shopping and all the stores will come up . Then you can visit the stores in an order that will save your feet from some wear and tear. It’s light and slim enough to fit in your purse or pocket.
Additional features: world travel clock, currency/measurement converters, calculator, JPEG picture viewer, fuel efficient routing
