As communities grow new roads are added and changed. Seems like we’re forever sitting in some construction zone waiting for the flagger to wave us on. Sometimes your aware of the construction zones and sometimes there is a big surprise. I don’t like these kind of surprises. It is very annoying to sit or crawl in traffic. I would rather go around it, even if it takes me a little longer at least I’m moving. Traffic updates will minimize these surprises. The Garmin 1350LMT has a pedestrian mode. I find this feature to be very handy while on vacation. One thing my wife loves to do is shop. We usually walk around the shopping district endlessly from store to store and then back track to a store we were already at. To make things a little better, you can set your Garmin to pedestrian mode and search shopping and all the stores will come up . Then you can visit the stores in an order that will save your feet from some wear and tear. It’s light and slim enough to fit in your purse or pocket.
